Street Smarts

(Non-Physical)

The bedrock of our teaching is to educate, dispel myths, ignore statistics, recognise and understand the behaviours, body language, verbal and non-verbal signals of predatory behaviours.

“Deep within us all, we have the need and capacity to defend ourselves, loved ones and our fellow man/woman. Hard Target training teaches participants to reorient and reaffirm this inherent right”.

- Aidan Carroll

This non-physical course will look at the bedrocks that underpin personal safety. We all think about ways to protect our personal material items, but do we ever stop to think for a second about our own personal safety and what precautionary measures we have in place should something untoward ever present itself? This one day course is a non-physical course suitable for everyone.

Course Content:

  • How predators select their victims

  • How to recognise anomalies in human behaviour

  • How predators manipulate and deceive their victims

  • When and why it’s OK not to be nice

This seminar is delivered by Aidan Carroll. He is the founder or the Hard Target System. Aidan regularly appears on national television and radio, explaining how we can all use a very simple game plan to get home safe. His system is used by over 800 members of Dublin’s emergency services; and many Government agencies and globally to thousands of civilians.

Aidan’s in-depth knowledge on criminology and predicting violent behaviour has saved many of his students from becoming another statistic.
